Modern medicine made personal.

How Direct Primary Care Works

  • Falmouth Direct Primary Care (DPC) is a membership based primary care practice without copays, deductibles, or surprise bills.

Unlike the high-volume, hurried approach of traditional practices, at Falmouth DPC we focus on building genuine doctor-patient relationships.

In a DPC practice your doctor has just a few hundred patients, allowing for longer appointments, same or next day visits, and an elevated primary care experience.

    • Longer appointments

    • Same or next day visits

    • A thorough, comprehensive approach to your healthcare

    • All office visits, annual exams, & sick visits

    • In office procedures, point of care testing, cryotherapy, EKGs, etc.

    • All care provided in our office is covered by your membership fee. No surprises.

  • Founder / Lead Physician

Prior to founding Falmouth DPC, Dr. Cotti earned his M.D. from the University of Massachusetts Medical School and completed his internal medicine residency at Brown University’s Kent Hospital, where he served as Chief Resident of Medical Simulation. Following residency, Dr. Cotti practiced primary care at Brown Physicians in Warwick, Rhode Island. He later joined the Health Service at Dartmouth College, where he practiced primary care and educated resident physicians as an instructor at Dartmouth’s Geisel School of Medicine.

Beyond the exam room, Dr. Cotti is a devoted father to his daughter and son, and the proud partner of a fellow physician. He has two lovely cats and a labrador retriever. When he’s not caring for patients, you’ll find him unwinding along the Cape’s beaches or riding along the bike path with his family.

  • Office Manager

Melissa earned her M.S. from Northeastern University and has worn many hats since. Teacher, Counselor, Realtor, and both Veterinary and Medical Assistant; she has been able to apply all of her skills to become a stellar Office Manager. She is thrilled to help create a warm and inviting atmosphere at Falmouth DPC as well as to help all of our patients feel at home.

When she is not managing Falmouth DPC, Melissa enjoys spending time with her husband, friends, and family. As an empty-nester; she absolutely loves when her children are home as they are her forever pride and joys! She finds peace when she is walking along the ocean and listening to the waves crash on the beach - no matter what time of year it is! She also enjoys gardening and farming on her mini-farm at home where she has chickens, and a duck and goose who are the best of friends. She also has 2 dogs, 3 cats, 2 birds, and fish - all of whom not only keep her busy, but they are the givers of true unconditional love.
